The main quality of a workshop is to offer a good working atmosphere. This is what I've reached. Simple but
efficient. See the details below : |
 |
- A work plan made of a board and two trestles
I leave my desk as clear as possible to be able to work comfortably on my paintings, in particular the biggest ones.
I also keep a signed drawing of Kevin Schwantz and a glass mount with the slogan of this same Kevin Schwantz, taken from
Winston Curchill: "Never, never, never give up". So I always keep the faith ! |
 |
- Shelves to store my documentation and equipment. My
documentation is constituted by lots of french motorcycle magazines (such as Moto Journal, Moto Revue or Sport-Bikes) and Grand
Prix yearbooks since 1989. But today, the majority of my sources became digital. |
 |
- Two windows
These two openings bring me a very good luminosity without any direct lightning. One to the West, one to the South. |
 |
- Portfolios
These cardboards preserve my paintings in progress or achieved, and carry them if necessary (on circuits for example). |
 |
- Memories
I brought back some memories from the paddocks. The most beautiful one is for me Katsuaki Fujiwara's helmet. The Japanese rider gave it
to me after a crash during a World Supersport free practise session in 2003 at Magny-Cours. |
