Goal : to offer an artistic look upon motorsports

As far as I remember, I 've always been attracted by drawing and colors. At the age of 10, I started to get interested in Formula 1. I followed with attention the glorious seasons of Alain Prost with the Mc Laren team and the rise of Ayrton Senna. Then, I was drawing single-seater cars. But, I unfortunately kept nothing from this time. At the end of the 1980's, I started to pay more attention to motorbikes.

1990 - 1998 :

In 1990, I discovered motorcycle racing in Le Mans, for the 24 Hours endurance race. In Grand Prix, it was the great time of the battles between Wayne Rainey and Kevin Schwantz, arbitrated by Mick Doohan. The Grand Prix of Le Mans, which replaced the Brazilian GP in 1991 (the circuit of Interlagos didn't get approved for security reasons), was a great moment with the win of Kevin Schwantz. On a graphic level, I quickly centered my drawings on this theme. I was using simple pens (Pilot V5) and colour pencils on simple paper sheets. I also made some quick drawing at school...

1994 - 2000 :

During six years, I invested myself in cycling and took part in races at a regional level. It was a way for me to taste the competition. I got my best result in 1997 (3rd at La Ronde des Corbières). This period brought me rigour and perseverance.

2000 - 2001 :

In 2000, after I stopped racing, I found back my pencils with pleasure and decided to try new techniques : ink washing and watercolour. Two techniques which qualities are softness and fluidity. The beginnings were hesitant but now the proportions water/pigment and the effects arequite natural. I keep a predilection for motorsports but I also explored other topics, such as Brittany landscapes and fauna, cats or portraits.

2002 :

In 2002, I created this website to share my passions. Beyond the pleasure of drawing and painting, I try to go to world class races as much as possible. So I can meet MotoGP or World Superbike riders and teams.
