Four times British Superbike runner-up (from 1997 to 2000), Chris Walker started his international career with win at Le Mans 24 Hour race in 1999. Contending the 500 World Grand Prix championship in 2001, he didn't finish the season because of a lack of results. Then, he took part in World Superbikes from 2002 to 2006 with Kawasaki, Ducati (2003) and FPR (2004). He claimed his single win in the rain at Assen in 2006. After an average season in British Superbikes with Suzuki, Chris Walker started 2008 in World Supersport series aboard the brand new ZX-6RR Kawasaki. Disappointed by its poor performances, Chris Walker moved to Paul Bird's team in World Superbike and rode a CBR Honda for the end of the season.
