Karl Muggeridge made his road racing debuts in 1994 in the Australian 250 cc production championship. He switched to supersport bikes (600 cc) in 1996, in Australia, in Great-Britain (4th in 1999) and at a world level from 2000. He had a brilliant first season (one win and three poles). Unfortunately, he didn’t confirm his performances the following season aboard the official GSX-R Suzuki. After a season of transition with Van Zon Honda, he took a new start with the Ten Kate Honda squad in 2003. As his team-mate, Chris Vermeulen, clinched the title, Karl Muggeridge dominated the end of the season taking three races in a row. He kept on the same pace in 2004 and earned seven more wins and the title. World Superbike rider since 2005, Karl Muggeridge never recorded as good results as in Supersport class. He'll contend the German Superbike championship (IDM) for Honda in 2010.
