Born to be champion ! That's how could be summed up Jorge Lorenzo's destiny. Since he was a child, his life has been dedicated to racing. He made his Grand Prix debut as soon as he had the minimum age, i.e. on the Saturday of the 2002 Spanish Grand Prix. Getting faster and faster, he brought his Derbi ahead of the races. Jorge Lorenzo literrally rubbed against the 125 cc class best riders and was considered as a tough-styled contender. After a first season in the 250 cc class with Honda, Jorge Lorenzo conquered two world titles with Aprilia. His wins celebrations are full part of his character. Jorge Lorenzo made thundering MotoGP debut : three poles and one win out of his three first races ! With a shaken confidence by two serious crashes, in China and Italy, he showed himself less conqueror and focused on his apprenticeship of the category.In 2009, he improved his final ranking with a vice-champion position ant 4 further wins. Dominating from the season start, his teammate Valntino Rossi's injury in Mugello let him the run of the field to clinch his first MotoGP title.
