News - 2011 WSBK French round : the report
10/25/2011

The 2011 World Superbike championship ended one week ago on the Portuguese circuit of Portimao. Carlos Checa took one further win, at the expense of a more ad more incisive Sylvain Guintoli. Marco Melandri and Eugene Laverty offered Yamaha a last 1-2 before they respectively join BMW and Aprilia.

As the economic context limits the means of the teams, the show is still on the track.
For Magny-Cours, I've provided a reduced service : only 15 watercolours. Exceptionally, I've been to the circuit on the Friday. After ahving quickly collected the riders' signs before and after the morning practise sessions, I sat in the stand of the Lycée corner, the chicane prior to the pit straight, under a shining sun. Actually, it's not so often that I can watch the bikes in action. I took some pictures of this day.

In order of appearance on the screen :
Carlos Checa (Ducati), Sylvain Guintoli (Ducati), Leon Camier (Aprilia), Tom Sykes (Kawasaki), Jonathan Rea (Honda), Michel Fabrizio (Suzuki), Carlos Checa (Ducati), Noriyuki Haga (Aprilia), Chaz Davies (Yamaha), Broc Parkes (Kawasaki).

I woluld have liked to make more artworks but I have to lead several projects simultaneously since the beginning of the year. That's the reason why I put online all the profiles updates today. In the forthcoming months, I'll bring some evolutions to the website and prepare the new season.

To end, I thank again Sylvain Guintolifor his precious help
