1991-2011 : 20 years ago, I was attending my first Grand Prix. At that time, the Brazilian Grand Prix was held in Le Mans for homolgation reasons. A godsend ! On the Bugatti circuit, I had the chance to watch Kevin Schwantz, Mick Doohan and Wayne Rainey battling for victory... eventually taken by my idol from Texas. However, I had no riders autograph or picture.

Thanks to my watercolours, I spend one day every year in the paddock to meet the riders. With a nice weather, they were out on the Thursday between their pit, motorhome and team hospitality. I collected all rhe expected signatures, except Valentino Rossi's one. Missed once more. Nevertheless, the balance is positive with the reigning champion Jorge Lorenzo and the official Honda riders trio.

But the highlight of this week end happened on the Saturday. On the invitation of Lucio Cecchinello, I made two watercolours "live" in the Team LCR's hospitality. I felt a little bit of pressure for this first experience out the usual framework of Mon petit atelier. All was right and my hand didn't tremble. [pictures to come].
