News - Mon petit atelier's 8th anniversary

At the end of my WSB progamme in last october, I breathed a great sigh !
- of relief, because this season, full of doubt, was trying and I had drawn nothing but motorbikes for eleven months in a row.
- of satisfaction, because, however, I 'd been able to offer a substantial content all along the year and to reach my goal of completing the riders' profiles.
- of impatience finally. Since the end of 2008, bikes won out against other projects left pending.

After having my mind well-aired (see the page dedicated to the 2009-2010 winter tests)), I'm happy to celebrate one more anninversary. The 8th for Mon petit atelier, (no need to overdo), but it has nevertheless a special taste. I went to Le Mans circuit for the first time 20 years ago. 20 years that I started to sketch motorbikes. Firstly on my school notebooks, then more seriously.

The 1990 Le Mans 24 Hours start. From left to right : Alex Vieira (Honda #1), winner-to-be, Thierry Crine (Kawasaki #5) and Hervé Moineau (Suzuki #3)

One of my first drawings, in 1990 : colour pencils and ink pen.
No nostalgia, quite the reverse. Only pep ! Let's go for a new season, that I hope as rich as the previous ones.
