News - 2009 MotoGP French round : D-7
05/07/2009

Here they come ! After an eventful winter break, MotoGP will soon put down its luggage in France, once more in Le Mans. The first races suggest a new exciting season :three rounds, three different winners. In Losail, Casey Stoner put everyone straitght ; in Motegi, Jorge Lorenzo outclassed his contenders ; then, last Sunday in Jerez, the Doctor gave a 88th consultation. As for Dani Pedrosa, he comes back to his best level run after run. The announced front-runners are indeed in the forefront. About the outsiders, Andrea Dovizioso makes a cautious but consistant season start as Nicky Hayden encounters, like his predecessor, difficulties to adapt to the Ducati machinery.Marco Melandri gives the best of himself aboard his black K... Ooops ! Hayate noire et restore his reputation. Same thing for Randy de Puniet, well-resolved not to loose his crashing record in the premier-class. In 250 cc, Mike di Meglio and Jules Cluzel offered to French fans an incredible double-podium in Qatar. French riders are in good conditions tobring things to a head in one week on Le Mans track.

As for me, this winter was also disturbed but nevertheless very busy. Like every year, I expect much from this day at the Bugatti circuit and pressure is growing as the D day comes closer. On these few hours depends the next updates...
