Copenhagen, 1968. The members of the new American phenomenon rock band, The Doors, land in Europe for their first overseas tour. The four young men present themselves before the camera : Robby Krieger, John Densmore and Ray Manzarek. Then arrives Jim Morrison. Name ? Jim... Profession ? Huuum...

I first discovered The Doors' music in 1991, year of Oliver Stone's movie (that I watched very recently). The original sound track made me dive into this (univers). To go further in my exploration, I listened all the band official (LP's). I read the biography written by Jerry Hopkins and Danny Sugerman (No one here gets out alive) to go beyond the (rumors) (circulant) about the band and (overall) its leader Jim Morrison. Quickly, I also searched for rare concerts records.
Each of Jim Morrison, more poet than singer, Ray Manzarek, classical pianist, Robby Krieger, guitarist with a flamenco background, and John Densmore, jazz percussionist, brought their personal experiences and influences to create a very deep music.
This work is really part of my life. I don't know what is my favourite piece, it depends on the instant and my mood. If you aren't familiar to The Doors, listen to this song :Spanish caravan, from the record Waiting for the sun released in 1968.
