Norick Abe died yesterday in traffic accident in Japan. He was part of the riders who made my passion for this sport growing . With his unique riding style, Norick Abe was defying the laws of gravity and was sometimes losing... Watch the video of his first Grand Prix at Suzuka in 1994.
I met him three times, in 2004, 2005 and 2006, in Le Mans for MotoGP and at Magny-Cours for World Superbike. Norick was one of the most reachable and nice riders.
